Let's Make-a-Meal is located at 187 Summer Street in Kingston, MA.  Take Route 3 to Exit #10 Kingston/Duxbury - Turn onto Route 3A South, towards Kingston.  Take a left at the traffic light and we are on the left in Cranberry Crossing Plaza.

What can I expect at Let's Make-a-Meal?

Everything you'll need to take the hassle out of dinner time.  We've designed the menus, shopped, chopped and prepared the ingredients.  All you have to do is have fun assembling your meals. 

When you arrive, our staff will check you in and give you a quick orientation.  You'll receive a list of the entrees you ordered, then pick a station and begin.  You'll leave with 3, 6, 9 or 12 dinners ready for your freezer.  During the month, simply thaw out your meals and follow the simple instructions.  Dinner will be prepared in no time!  At Let's Make-a-Meal, we ...put the fun back into cooking!

What are your store hours?

Our hours of operation vary.  Please take a look at our "Calendar" section to view exact session times.  We have flexible hours to meet every schedule.  Call ahead if you wish to stop by and purchase a meal to go.

What do I need to do before coming in for a session?

  • The first and most important thing to do is sign up for a session.  You can do this online or by coming in to our store in advance to place your order.  Sessions can fill up fast so please choose one that is convenient for you.

  • Make room in your freezer so you have a place for your meals when you get home.

  • Dress in comfortable clothes so that you can relax and enjoy your assembly experience.

What do I bring when I attend a session?

All you need is something to take your meals home in.  A cooler or laundry basket will work well.  We provide the disposable containers for you to assemble your meals.  We also provide gloves and aprons for you to wear while you are preparing your meals.

How long does a session last?

This all depends on the number of menu items you are assembling and the speed at which you work.  No need to rush!  A typical 12 meal session will take you less than 2 hours and a 6 meal session will take about an hour.

How do I register for a session?

You can register 3 ways:

  • The most convenient way is through our Website.  Just go into the "Menu" section, choose the meals that you want then visit our "Calendar" to pick a session that is convenient for you.  From here just follow the directions to "Check Out".

  • The second way is to call us on the phone.  We can take your order, schedule a session and payment over the phone.  Our number is  (781) 585-5599.

  • Third, visit our location and register in person.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Master Card, Visa, American Express, Check and Cash.

How many people does each meal feed?

Each meal will comfortably feed 4-6 people depending on appetite.  You may choose to split your meals into 2 meals that will serve 2-3 people.

What type of entrees will be offered?

We offer a different variety each month, but the menu includes options such as beef, chicken, fish, pork, pasta and more.  There is also a variety of ways to cook the meals such as in the oven, on the grill, stove top and crock pot.  Although most entrees are designed for dinner, some options are appropriate as appetizers, sandwiches, breakfasts and soups as well.

What if I don't like or want certain ingredients in my meals?

We understand that everyone has different tastes.  Some don't like onions, while others can't get enough.  Not to worry, we created our meals with flexibility in mind.  If your family doesn't like green peppers, leave them out.  If you don't like things spicy at your house, add only half of what the recipe calls for.  We are happy to help you adjust the spices and ingredients so everyone at your table is happy.

Will Let's Make-a-Meal really save me time and money each month?

Let's Make-a-Meal will save you approximately 20-30 hours each month by eliminating the time you would spend menu planning, grocery shopping, storing, preparing ingredients and cleaning up your work area.  You will save money too.  With Let's Make-a-Meal, there's fewer trips to the grocery store, fewer impulse purchases, fewer stops for fast food, and less spoilage.  In addition to saving time, you'll save money.

What is the cost of the meals?

  • 3 meals  - $ 69 =  $3.88 per serving

  • 6 meals  - $129 = $3.58 per serving

  • 9 meals  - $169 = $3.13 per serving

  • 12 meals - $199 = $2.76 per serving

What if I don't have time to come in and assemble my meals?

No problem, for an additional charge we can have our staff  assemble them for you and have them ready for you to pick-up.  Just go to our Home Page, click on  "Pick-up", select your menu items and submit your order.  Cost of assembly is just $2.50 per meal.

What if I need to cancel my session?

We understand that situations change so we offer several options in case you cannot attend your scheduled session.  We ask that you call us as soon as you know you need to cancel and you can reschedule for a different session within the same week or, for an additional fee, we will assemble the meals you have ordered and you can arrange to pick them up at a designated time.

We are also able to fully refund your credit card if you cancel your order  three or more business days before your scheduled session.  The reason for this policy is that we try to offer our customers the freshest ingredients and our orders are placed with our suppliers based on scheduled sessions.

Can I bring a friend or my children?

Friends and family are always welcome!  Just recognize the following guidelines:

  • Children must be 12 years of age or older (for the safety of children and the comfort of the other guests).
  • Limit of one child or friend  per customer.
  • We request advance notice for space requirement.

What is the best way to thaw my meals?

All meals should be placed in your refrigerator to thaw thoroughly prior to cooking.  Depending on the size of the entree, this could take 24-48 hours.  Meals should never be thawed at room temperature.

How long can a thawed meal stay in the refrigerator?

Most meals can be stored completely thawed for up to two days.  Meals with seafood should be cooked withing 24 hours of thawing.

How long will my meals hold up in the freezer?

Most meals can be stored for two to three months in the freezer.  Simply take the meals out and follow the easy to use cooking instructions on the labels provided.

What if someone in family has food allergies?

One of the best things about our meals is that they are flexible and there is a variety to choose from each month.  In most cases, you can simply omit the ingredients that you are allergic to or bring your own substitute with you.  All ingredient labels are available for you to review.  Please note that some common food allergens such as milk and nuts are used in many of our recipes and will be present during most sessions.

Does Let's Make-a-Meal sell gift certificates?

We offer gift certificates for all your giving needs.  You may purchase a gift certificate by calling our store and purchase them over the phone or come into our location and we will assist you.  The gift of food is always appreciated and appropriate.

How do I redeem my gift certificate?

Sign up for a session, choose a date, time, meal package.  When paying, enter the coupon code located on your gift certificate.  You can also contact the store at 781-585-5599.

What should I do if my credit card gets declined when I go to check out?

Please make sure that the information you gave during you online registration matches the information for your credit card you are using. (example: If the address you used during registration is different from your credit card address, the security of the website will decline that credit card.
